General Conditions of Use

The Master Lix site is owned, edited and run by Mini Mind Design Studio. Master Lix is a Indian company based at Gujarat, India and we welcome you from Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and respond to you at the following email address : hello@masterlix.com Use of the Master Lix site is subject to acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By accessing Master Lix, you agree to regularly refer to the latest version of the General Conditions permanently available on the site. In case of disagreement with these conditions or unacceptable behaviour towards a fellow user, Master Lix reserves the right to prohibit or restrict access to the site.


Website Description

Master Lix is the platform for connecting tutors, coaches, and professionals with students. Master Lix facilitates learning, sharing knowledge and human connections.

Master Lix does not intervene in any financial transactions between members. This means that Master Lix cannot be engaged, directly or indirectly, in the transactions between students and coaches, or held responsible for the financial settlement of private lessons. Master Lix, in its capacity as an advertiser, cannot guarantee the payment of coaching fees for students or coaches.

Master Lix makes every effort to control the quality, the accuracy of information contained in advertisements, the veracity of coaches qualifications, contact information and availability, but cannot under any circumstances guarantee it. Master Lix members must create a profile to use and contact other members of the community. Users commit to create only one profile on the site. This profile can be modified, administered and deleted from the dashboard made available to users.

The services of the Master Lix site are exclusively reserved for those over the age of 13, legally able to subscribe to purchase and sale agreements under applicable national law. Use of the service as a student is limited to individuals and for their own personal use. Legal entities or their employees will not be able to use the service as students to contact professors. Master Lix reminds its users that they are subject to national labour and corporate laws, as well as national payment and tax systems.


Submission, Distribution & Searching for Listings

Coaches can publish their account on Master Lix free of charge by following the instructions on the site which can be found at the following address : www.masterlix.com. Members can create only one account per skill set they have.

Each coaching account must be different from the others and must have a unique title in order to avoid bad referencing by our friend Google. Any coach publishing a coaching account on Master Lix undertakes to publish only information, content, photographs and videos that belong to them and for which they hold the rights. The account details must not contain any erroneous, illegal or misleading information.

The account detail must not contain misinformation, unlawful or misleading information. Account information may contain the contact details of the coach: address, phone, e-mail, web address... If not abided, the accounts are subject to removal and banning from the website.

Coaches are committed to being fully transparent about their background and references. Master Lix cannot be held responsible for any erroneous information provided by the coaches. It is the student's responsibility to verify the information provided by the coaches on his/her ad and to notify Master Lix as soon as possible if this information is inaccurate.

A coach's account may be suspended if the coach takes more than 48 hours to respond to a student’s request.

The listing posting and circulation on the website are free as of now.


How do we use and moderate your messages?

1. We may review, scan, or analyse the messages you exchange with other members of our community through our Platforms for fraud prevention, service improvement, customer support purposes, enforcement of the contracts entered into with our members (such as our Terms and Conditions). For example, in order to prevent the circumventing of our online search engine, we may scan and analyse messages sent through our Platforms to check that they do not include any contact details or references to other websites.

2. We will never scan or analyse your messages with other members of our community for commercial and advertising purposes. We may use automated methods to carry out the moderation of these messages, but no automated individual decision-making is performed in this regard.


Targeted ads on social media platforms and our communications sent by e-mail and/or text messages

In accordance with applicable laws and where required with your consent, we may use the information you give us on our Platforms for electronic direct marketing purposes (e.g. (i) receiving our newsletters, invitations to our events or other communications that we think may interest you or (ii) serving you with targeted advertising on social media platforms or third parties websites).

For electronic marketing communications

You can withdraw your consent at any time by (i) unticking the relevant box in your member account, (ii) clicking on the unsubscribe link we provide in each Master Lix communication sent to your attention or (iii) contacting us using the contact details provided in section 12 below.

For targeted ads and content

On social media (e.g. Facebook and Twitter) you can object at any time by configuring your settings regarding advertisement via your social media account;


Is your Information being transferred? How and where?

In principle, we store the Personal Data that we hold about you in India. However, since for example some of our service providers are based in countries outside of India (“third countries”), we also transfer some of your data to third countries. This may include third countries where the Indian Commission has not taken the decision that such third country ensures an adequate level of protection (for example the United States). In that case, we ensure that the transfer is performed in accordance with the applicable legislation and that appropriate safeguards have been put in place (especially standard contractual clauses as issued by the Indian Commission) in order to guarantee a sufficient level of protection of individuals’ private life and fundamental rights.


What are your rights in respect of your personal data?

1. You are entitled to receive a copy of your personal data that is in our possession (your right of data access).

2. You may request the deletion of personal data or the correction of inaccurate personal data (your right to erasure and rectification). Please note that we may keep certain information concerning you, as required by law, or when we have a legal basis to do so (e.g., our legitimate interest to keep the platform safe and secure for other users).

3. You have the right to object at any time (i) to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, or (ii) to the processing of your personal data for other purposes on grounds relating to your particular situation (your right to object to processing). Please note that in the latter case, this right only applies if the processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest.

4. You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data (your right to restriction of processing). Please note that this only applies if (i) you contested the accuracy of your personal data and we are verifying the accuracy of the personal data, (ii) you exercised your right to object and we are still considering, as foreseen by the applicable law, whether our legitimate grounds to process your personal data in that case override your interests, rights and freedoms; or (iii) your personal data has been processed by us in an unlawful way but you either oppose the erasure of the personal data or want us to keep your personal data in order to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

5. You have the right to receive and/or have us transfer to another data controller a subset of personal data, that concern you and that you provided us with, and which we process for the performance of our contract or because you previously consented to it, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (your right to data portability).

6. You also have the right to make a complaint to the relevant data protection supervisory authority or to seek a remedy through the courts if you believe that your rights have been breached.


Refund Policy

1.You are eligible for a refund if you raise a refund request within 7 days of subscribing premium plan.

2. We will deduct our processing charges before giving you the refund.

3. You will get your refund within 30 days from the date of refund request.

4. We will not entertain any refund request raised after 7 days of subscribing premium plan.

5. To raise the refund request you need to send us an on email hello@masterlix.com with the subject-line Refund Request <EmailAddress>.

6. We will not be able to process a refund request if it is not sent by the registered email address.

7. All services provided are non-transferable.

8. We may change the premium plan charges from time to time by posting the changes in or on the services or by notifying you in advance.


Confidentiality of your password

Where you have chosen a password which enables you to access certain parts of our Platforms, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.


Links to other websites and social media

Our Platforms may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy practices and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any Personal Data to these websites.


Changes to our Privacy Policy

Any changes we may make to our Privacy Notice in the future will be posted on this page. Where appropriate, we will notify you or seek your consent. Please check back frequently to see any updates or changes to our Privacy Policy.
